The Michelotti Portfolio is the first publishing proposal of this kind from the Italian Historical Automotoclub Bookshop. It is a collection of 18 large-format plates with freehand drawings, sketches, tempera-coloured or watercoloured works to collect or frame, from the impressive archive of the Turin designer Giovanni Michelotti. Each panel bears witness to a different period in the long career of one of the most brilliant car designers. The precious box set is enriched by a leaflet inside which Edgardo Michelotti, Giovanni’s son, retraces his father’s career and sketches a personal and professional recollection of it, all accompanied by photographs of the time.
