The ‘Museum Road’ is an Automotoclub Storico Italiano publishing premiere because never before had a research project been carried out to shed light on motoring and mobility Museums and Collections. This volume -the fruit of eight years of research by the ASI History and Museums Commission- catalogues, describes and documents more than 250 Collections and Museums dedicated to cars, motorbikes, trucks, agricultural vehicles, planes, trains, boats, bicycles and carriages. The aim of the work is to offer an overview of the numerous realities present in our country, the result of passion, dedication and research. Some collections are better known, others less so but still valuable witnesses of the 20th century. Of all the realities the book provides addresses, telephones, web contacts, thus helping the visitor to discover MIDA, the Museo Italiano Diffuso dell’Automobile.
