Product Description
The book reconstructs the history of the Naples Grand Prix, 19 editions that took place between the Thirties and the Sixties on a city circuit set up on the roads of the Posillipo hill, defined by the authors as “The hill of the audacious”.
A way to underline the far from trivial feats carried out by great motorsport champions, first of all Tazio Nuvolari, winner of the first edition in 1934.
The photographic material present is of the highest quality: the Parisio Archive, the Istituto Luce and some private collections have provided historical material of extraordinary interest, from which over 450 images have been taken.
