Product Description
This book seeks to grasp the meaning and evolution of Franco Scaglione’s design one hundred years after his birth through the analysis of his most significant projects and some of his writings, we wanted to investigate the complex, sometimes apparently contradictory spirit of his work, his research and his applications of aerodynamics and the role he played in the history of the creation and realization of the great season of Italian design in the world of the automobile. This analysis takes place through the very stages of his work: from the beginning, through the experience of collaboration with Bertone, the seasons as a freelancer, to finally end with the unfortunate experience with Frank Reisner’s Intermeccanica.
